Three of us traveling on business went here for Breakfast on a Thursday morning, There were tables full of regulars smoking and drinking coffee, but I didn't see much eating going on. That should have been my first clue...
I ordered a simple breakfast of two eggs, ham, potatoes, wheat toast, and a side of biscuit gravy. One of my companions ordered the same less the gravy, while the other ordered a sausage breakfast sandwich.
The food came just a little more slowly then I would have liked, and when it got there It was "interesting". The eggs (over medium) were obviously cooked on a dirty grill, but they were cooked correctly at least. The ham was more like ham jerky (DRY!), the potatoes were sort of chunky and grey looking. They were obviously homemade, as that's what happens to a potato when you cut it and don't immediately give it a salt-water bath. The potatoes were very bland as well as being visually unappealing. The biscuit gravy tasted like standard canned gravy, but it was necessary to get the potatoes and ham to go down.
My companion who ordered similar to me was wishing he had some biscuit gravy about then too! Our other traveler got what amounted to a sausage patty slapped between to pieces of dry white toast. Not the Texas toast sandwich advertised.
I won't go back here on any future business trips you can rest assured!
