Worst. Hotel. Ever.
We were here for a conference and checked in late. We went to our room and it smelled horrible. Even though they hotel says it's "Smoke Free" it smelled like someone had been smoking in the room, nonstop for the last 20 years and then sprayed Febreez all over.
We asked for another room, and it was just as bad.The actual room was brutal. The furnishings were obviously old and the beds were terrible. I t was so bad that we wouldn't let our son sit down anywhere.
The only good thing was the front desk girl. She was so awesome when we wanted a new room and then finally told her we could not stay. We weren't charged a cancellation fee!
Yikes. Very outdated poorly run and maintained hotel. Rooms weren't ready at 4:00, an hour after advertised check in time. I heard several other guests having the same problem. Not heated outdoor pool was dangerously cold. Â Vending machines were broken. Staff were overworked and not very professional. Wifi in the room was spotty at best. Best I can say is the rooms were quite large and clean
Review Source:I come to the Misty's Lounge at the Clarion every few months for karaoke, The hours are 9 to around midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Their newest KJ, Ernie, is a big improvement. He has an average selection of songs and he sets a friendly tone. There are usually some dance breaks, but if no one is dancing, Ernie goes back to karaoke. The service from the bar is usually pretty good, and the waitresses check up on tables frequently.
My biggest complaint about this place is it's kind of odd. There are always some weirdies in the house and whoever stumbled in from their hotel room. The demographic seems to be lots of middle aged folks, although some younger crowds make an appearance (depends on the night). If nothing else, the place is good for people watching.
Great Customer Service, The room is cozy, the bed is firmer than I prefer but its suitable for just a couple nights.
Its very convenient to the freeway and plenty of parking and close to restaurants and shops.
Can't really say anything negative about it, I was comfortable in the time I was there. I've stayed at an expensive hotel in yakima and I would'nt go there again because the beds were terrible, uncomfortable and lumpy.
the clarion is very nice and I would highly recommend it! Â :)
