Great bartenders and good food late night are what keeps us coming back.  I would recommend staying away from the downstairs bar unless you are looking for a basement club singles dance party environment.  Upstairs, especially on Friday nights with Christina and Bridgette behind the bar are great!!! Weekly drink specials.....singers....djs.....good crowd.....also surprisingly enough, great sushi and pizza in one place.  This is a bit off the beaten path, but a great spot for drinks and apps as long as you stay upstairs.  Outside at the tiki bar is nice during the day and still offers a full menu outside.

Club Maggie's has a bit of an identity crisis. It does not know whether to be a sports bar, disco lounge or pub and most recently they added a Tiki Bar outside, a little out of place but its very spacious.
Last week we stopped in and just missed the 1/2 price Sushi and appy ends at 7 PM and we got there are 6:55?? Anyway we had the Sushi at full price and it was the freshest and tastiest Sushi that I have had in a while. Did I forget to say that they are also a Sushi Bar too?  We started going here about 4 years ago for the $1 and $2  burger night that they no longer have and because its local
Normally good traditional pub food and now  the Sushi was a real surprise. The service has also improved l since our last visit too. These are good signs that will have us coming back  for more surprises

I've eaten here during the late afternoon and in the evening. The upstairs venue is better, very scenic by the window in the dining area. Food is good for what it is, oI like vegetable sushi and they offer fresh sushi.  My husband had an entree off the menu and for the price we had good food for reasonable prices. Service was friendly and not overbearing.  Nice for the occasional meal, close so travel time is never an issue and the food is served in a decent amount of time.  Good enough to add to my oration of places to eat locally.

I like Maggie's.... in the late afternoon.  Nice interior bar with lights coming thru the top.  Interesting mix of people in the afternoon.  Nice music and very reasonable prices for the food and drinks.  Fun place.

Have only eaten in the "uptown" venue, as they call it.

The "uptown" venue is an ok-sized bar with a small dining area to the side. More dining space is downstairs in the "underground" venue, and the tiki bar is a small outdoor bar on the side of the building.

My GF and I have enjoyed the burgers and fries here, even though the menu is very large. Haven't had any issues with the service. In the eastern Jackson area, this and the liquor-licensed Surf Taco are the go-to spots for my GF and me.

Walk downstairs and you feel like you are sitting in a basement.  Drinks are cheap but the atmosphere is awful and there are always some burly, juiced-out security keeping the wannabe-tough guys in Affliction shirts and the local OCC crowd in line.

In the summer you can sit outside at the tiki bar and the place actually starts to get pleasant.  It's a nice set up so it has that going for it. Usually has some music playing over the speakers and has some TVs in case there is a game on. Bartenders at tiki bar are nice and you can get some corona buckets.

    Summary: Inside-bad, outside-good.

Basement Bar in Lakewood. They have some rough looking bouncers and a rough crowd that goes there. Food is cheap and so is the alcohol but the atmosphere is just terrible.

Great bar, great food, great specials.
Depending on what you are looking for, Maggie's can probably satisfy your needs, and if they can't-the upstairs "Cosmopolitan Lounge" can do the trick.

When driving to this place, you will probably think you made a wrong turn or you are going to be the only person in the bar.  However, you will be pleasantly surprised with the liveliness to come.  It is located in the basement of a banquet hall and additional bar (cosmos) on  a gold course.  During the day,its more of  an older crowd of regulars, and as the day progresses, the crowd gets a little younger.

The 2 best thing about Maggies are the fact that they always have some kind of good special, and their are things for you to do.  They have 2 pool tables, a Foosball table, Wii is usually set up on one of their projectors (which is also awesome if their is a good sports game on) and the computer monitor with the plethora of games (like photo hunt and such).  Wednesday nights their is beer pong and its beat the clock (Bud light) starting at 8.

Happy hour is 2-6 and they have a different food out every day for you to take a plate of if you are at the bar.  Currently the drink special is $1 off whatever drink but that is subject to change.  They recently started doing pizza's which are excellent.  And Tuesday nights its half off so you get a 16 in. pie for $5.50-you seriously cannot beat that.

Friday and Saturday nights after 10 get a little wild.  The crowd is a bit rough and the night usually ends with some kind of fight.  I would rather not go on those nights because my idea of a good time is drinking a bunch, good music, some dancing and playing games with good people-not grinding on strangers and having guys grabbing my ass.

If you have a decent group of your friend I'd recommend coming on Sun-Mon and they will probably accommodate you on whatever you want to do.  Last week their was about ten of us and we set up the tables and played quarters, and later on played relay on the beer pong table-in addition, my tab was 11$ and I was feeling excellent throughout the night.

They recently got a shuttle bus too, so if you have ten or more, you can call them up an hour or a few hours beforehand and have them pick you guys up as well as drop you off...for FREE. convenient.

Music is a jukebox until about 9 and then a DJ comes on.  It's open until 2 and if the crown is getting to rowdy for your liking, you can take a walk upstairs to the classy cosmos for some good martinis and superb sushi.
