Trashy, divey bar where if you don't look like a 5 cent hooker you might not fit in, but the guys will wave dollar bills in your face and ask you to dance them "cause your so pretty". I will NEVER go back to that trailer trash hole in the wall!

I love Club Soda. When I was a kid I use to call here all the time looking for my mom. She was a pool player and would always be down there and blowing us kids off. They were always so nice when I called and I think pushed my mom out the door to get home to us. Either that or they were sick of all my calls, either way it was cool. Ah memories.

So now that you think my mom was a slacker mom, let's get down to the nitty.

Club Soda is an older club, how old I am not sure but the styling makes me think 80's cocktail bar with their neon green and pink sign (of which they splurged and upgraded recently) it has a horse shoe style bar to where you can sit yourself strategically away from weirdo or next to them.
Club Soda has an eclectic crowd. From the usual's that have their nightly spots, the occasional visitor like myself where I can choose if I want to be next to the haggard washed up drunk or the young professional who comes for the cheap drinks and good laughs.

The bartenders have always been super cool. Sometimes you go to a bar and the tender has their superiority complex like suddenly holding that top shelf grey goose had made you into a supreme being. Well it is not like that here. They hold good conversation if wanted or leave you be, they are good at reading what their customer wants. The drinks come cheap and stiff which is exactly what you want and expect from a classy joint like Club Soda.

There are a few pool tables to play on, a small stage for music and a jukebox that plays some greats and usually "oldies" like Joe Cocker, Led Zeppelin, and Stevie Ray Vaughn etc. Some great tunes for a great bar. I poke fun of Club Soda but that is the whole nostalgia of it for me and many others. It's a great little bar. I can be a tiny bit seedy but not dangerous and certainly a good time with some good drinks.

Stopped by about 10:00 PM last Saturday night. There were 8 people sitting around the bar, and 2 bartenders working. I grabbed a stool next to the bar and waited for service. And waited and waited. The other bartenders seemed to be too busy telling stories to the other customers. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I left.

Very poor service, won't be going back.

When ever I'm in town to visit my Girlfriend she always drags me here, not that it's hard to do.  I love this bar.  It's the kinda place you don't have to dress up for and still end up being the nicest dressed there.  The Bartender is entertaining and the locals are interesting.  The decor is left over from the 80's and so might the be the pool tables but the juke box is a newer digital one.  There is also a tiny stage complete with stripper pole and a huge sign that says "Do Not Touch My Pole"

All and all the perfect bar for me.
