At best, Club Vo is mediocre. Maybe I'm just too "old" for the club scene (at the ripe old age of 25, right?), but I wasn't impressed.
I've  been to many bars and this sadly housed one of the worst bars. The music was entirely too loud for the "bartenders" to hear what you wanted.  They weren't exactly friendly, either.  Then the drinks themselves: weak!  The woman who took my drink order had to ask the "head" bartender how to make my drink - an amaretto sour.  I'm no bartender but I know how to make one of those bad girls.  Then it tasted more like sweet&sour mix than the amaretto itself. Â
The music was actually pretty good; a mixture of old-school rap and newer stuff. Â They employ their version of go-go dancers. They were nice to look at but they seemed to be relatively bored with dancing on a pedestal. I suppose I would be, too!
The 'bouncers' were very friendly, along with what I assume to be the manager or owner of the building. Â It's in the back of a barber shop, so I suppose one can't expect something amazing, but one can also be blindly hopeful.
Overall, it was alright, but I'm not positive I would ever go back.
