This place has an excellent view of the sunset. Well worth the overpriced beer, bad food, and nasty bathroom. Again, an amazing view of the sunset (if you get a table by the bay), so I recommend ordering one drink before the sun disappears, enjoy, then leave.

We almost passed this place up because there was nobody here at 8:00 on Saturday night, but I'm a sucker for the thatch roof palapa-style tropical look, and I dragged my husband in here even though it was pretty dead. The place looks like the quintessential island bar, with bamboo walls, palm frond roof, and open walls with a view of the water. Margaritas were some of the best I've had on the island. Could have been a bit stronger but still very tasty. The kitchen closed at 6:00 or we would have tried the food. I think it's usually open until 8:00 but we were here in early November and everything tends to shut down early when the tourists are gone. The menu was limited but looked tasty. I want to try the coconut shrimp some time. Drink prices weren't too bad. $43 for 5 margaritas and 4 beers? Lots of fruity tropical drinks to choose from, but I wish they were served in real glasses instead of styrofoam cups. If my margaritas had come in a hurricane glass with an umbrella instead of a styrofoam cup, that would have classed things up a bit and bumped Coconuts up to 5 stars. The music was good, mostly salsa dancing music and not too loud. That added to the feeling that we were in a beach bar in Mexico and reminded us of a recent trip to the Mayan riviera. Another table requested a few country songs and that kind of blew the vibe for us, but to each his own, I guess. This is definitely a local place, which I enjoyed. We'll definitely be back.

Came in on a Friday night with a party of 12 and the waitress only came by 3 or 4 times to check on us. 1st to take our order 2nd to bring our order and the 4th to give us our check. The only think I can think of why the service was bad was because she didnt care and knew she was getting her gratuity tip already. The food was just ok but the location was pretty nice, overlooking the laguna. Probably will not be back. There are a lot of other places that I can spend my money at on the island.

We've been coming to this place for years and it's still the same great place it's always been. Fabulous view of the bay (sunsets!). It's elevated and open for the ocean breeze to blow thru and keep you cool. Food is very good. "Fancy" drink prices are high, but other prices are reasonable.  This isn't a fancy place, but it is a great hangout.

I was with a party of 15 and we walked in on a Monday night at about 7:58 pm.  We didn't know their kitchen closed at 8 pm.  The owner still allowed us to come in and order food and drinks.  Their menu is somewhat small but the food is made to order and the atmosphere is nice.  It's a small resturant that overlooks the bay.  Great place to watch the sunset, have a good meal and a tropical drink!

Great little bar to grab a few drinks and snack on some delicious coconut shrimp. Nice vacation spot.
