Colonel Tom's Tavern

Great honky tonk in the badlands of lake Martin. Weekend lake people mingle with local country folk. Usually good live music and since they are a "private" club they stay open past 2, like I really need that...
Biggest complaint is the horrible smoke in the bar - bad enough to avoid a trip if it bothers you. Watch for the drunks stumbling around, as they provide great entertainment. The young crowd rolls in about 11pm. Enjoy.
PS - be careful drinking and driving - they watch this back road. Sure wish they would improve the air quality, just awful. But this spot is so much better than the Rodeo across the street you have to just go with it. Also, Bar at Chuck's marina can be fun on weekends during the summer.
