Still wonderful! Yup! Friendly personalized service (thanks Paco) and smiling faces. The food was great and the service excellent.
SO nice to have good options for food in such a small town.
Thanks for making every visit special... and keep the good food, good portions and reasonable pricing going! We like it this way!!! :)
Excellent surprise!!!.......My husband, daughter, cousin and I went here last night because my husbands cousin was in town and Mexican food sounded good and I wanted to try this place.  I didn't really expect to find a  good mexican food in Coquille but I was wrong..  This place is worth it... There are plenty of selections on the menu with VERY good prices for what you get.  First off, they have excellent margaritas!!!... the strawberry margarita was perfect (lol... I would go back just for these). The restaurant was busy. The service was friendly. Now more about the food ... the chips, salsa and side of beans were good.  My 8 year old (little miss picky) got the chicken enchilada childs plate, she definatly liked it, cousin Dan got the 2 Chile Rellenos with rice and beans, he said it was very tasty. My husband got a chicken enchilada and chimichanga combo dinner..he said it. was excellent.  I got the Pollo en mole combo meal. It was delicious and jjust the right amount of everything.  We were all definatly impressed and full when we left.  This is a definite one to go back too and a must try if you are wanting mexican food.  Yum!
Review Source:Didn't expect to find good mexican food in the middle of Coquille but thats what I get for making hasty generalizations.
Found this place thanks to Yelp and upon seating was greeted with chips, salsa and a plate of beans for scooping. Â The beans where my first sign this wasn't a ordinary Tex-Mex joint.
I decided to order the carnitas as it is usually a good test. Â They had your normal Tex-Mex fair, enchiladas, burritos, tacos etc. and in true tex-mex fashion the options where shredded/ground beef or chicken.
The carnitas where well done, nice and crisp and served over a bed of nicely caramelized onions. I asked the server for some hot salsa and when he asked how hot I replied hot as you can, the man chuckled then disappeared into the kitchen. The concoction he returned with was a combo of serranos and habaneros and I think I surprised him as I loaded my carnitas up with it and ate it with out flinching. Â
Needless to say it was a fireball of fun to go with some decent carnitas. Â I was less than impressed with their tortillas, tasted like bagged grocery store brand made by a machine in a large factory.
Over all it was a good surprise in the middle of the rural Oregon coast.
