Cookie's Soul Food Kitchen

I feel honored to be the first person to write a review on Cookie's.  I was driving from a meeting I had in a small town in east Texas to Houston and I started seeing signs for Cookies.  When I saw the buidling I knew I had to stop.  This place is the epitome of what I imagine soul food to be.  The food on the $9.50 all you can eat buffet was fantastic and the banana pudding was some of the best I've ever had.  Seeing that I was in a business suit, it was obvious that I wasn't from around there, yet the staff was extremely friendly.  The next time I drive through Ames, TX I'm definitley stopping at Cookies!
