Service was very slow. Took 45 mins to get a round of drinks and appetizers. Couldn't get refills quickly at all either. Overall it looks nice in side, nachos were tasty, but if you are in a hurry don't expect much.

Good beer selection. Friendly staff. Good food. Family friendly in Estes. Didn't check out the bar area but it looked like a good place to hang out.

I enjoyed the Southwestern Chicken Sandwich. My wife had the Greek salad. All the sides and appetizers looked good. No complaints about the food.

Service was reasonable. Not the fastest I've ever had but we were on vacation and not in a rush. Prices were reasonable too.

    I'd definitely go back.

This was our second time in the past 6 months to try Coopers. The first time we had wings and burgers and it was ok. This time we didn't really want a big meal so we ordered a Greek salad, shrimp cocktail and an order of friend pickles to split between 2 adults and 2 kids. Service was very slow and unorganized, the food was a big disappointment and very over priced. This place might be a good standby in Estes if all of the other good places are full, but only order the wings. The Sports bar area in the back is very cool, it's too bad the food and service is not up to the same standard.

I'm just going to address the 1-star review below off the bat:  When I came in here, the front room was empty too -- so I just walked right on back to the "sports bar" area in the back and sat down at the bar. You're in Estes Park... in a place that isn't very busy... why should a hostess be standing by the front door patiently waiting for you to walk through it? All I can say is: suck it up, grow a pair, and go exploring. I promise it's not that scary.

    As for my experience:

    GREAT SERVICE.
I was one of just a couple of people here on a slow night before tourist season really started. When I sat down at the bar, the assistant manager (Brian) and the bartender were doing inventory, so I hung out with them for an hour while waiting for the rest of my group to get back from their hike. Brian was great -- really friendly, keeping up conversation with me the whole time, letting me try all the different beers on tap, and giving great recommendations for what to get to eat. I can't say a single bad thing about the service here.

    FOOD AND DRINK.
Good selection of local craft brews and imports. Personally, I'ma big fan of the Honey Wheat, but this is a great place to taste everything until you find what you like. When you order food, ask for what they recommend (this is something you should do at any new place you go to, anyway). Get the BAKED BRIE appetizer. I swear I don't even like brie all that much, and this was amazing. Thanks for recommending it Brian!

    ATMOSPHERE:
Classy, modern front room if you want to have a nice sit-down dinner. Also a great space in the back with tons of TVs that's more like a sports bar if you want something a little more casual. And a small patio in the back next to the stream if you want to sit outside. Overall, it's a great balance of classy and casual.

Dropped in after a day of fishing for the happy hour and had the nachos. They were quite good with chili and corn on them. It seems to be the place where all the local 21 to 25-year-old go when they get off work to talk about their sexual conquests and drunk tank stories.Other than that, the food was good service was good and the view of the river was nice.

This place was such a disappointment, I should have been warned when we walked in the door to a totally empty place and no staff around, even though the sign said please wait to be seated after a couple of minutes I walked back towards the kitchen and finally a young lady came out. No smile mind you but we were now at a table with menus. The place is really nicely decorated and the menu is interesting. Then miss happy comes back took a drinks and food order, again with no effort at friendliness. We ordered 2 cheese plates which on the menu said came with crackers and baguette, we also ordered clam chowder. The food arrived with 2 nicely presented cheese boards, each with 3 large wedges of cheese and 6 crackers per board, no bread. Next the soup arrived, and I asked about bread and was told the cheese board does not come with bread, but it could be brought for an extra price, I then asked for a menu pointed out where it said bread, about 5 minutes later some arrived on a plate. The cheese was OK, lots of it just not great quality, the soup was out of a can, salty and no other flavor. This place needs to fire the staff and start again or I doubt it will survive a year.
