Corktown Bar

I agree with the other reviewer. Corktown is the definition of a dive bar. Now that isn't bad thing. There are no scary bikers or sleazy people hanging out like in a nasty bar.  The people that go there all know each other and are happy to tell you a tale about the city. There is nothing fancy about the Corktown. Cheap drinks, nice bartenders and nice customers.A real nice place to go. The homemade wooden jukebox is a site to see.

This is a real bar.  Munising could do no better.  The drink specials are super cheap, even for the UP.  I was in twice during a summer trip and I realized that I wished this bar was in my home town.  Corktown is slightly divey, but it revels in this aura.  The crowd is friendly and sharing.  The world needs more Corktown Bars
