My family and I arrived at the Cotton Patch already knowing that it was a bit pricey, but we expected more for what we were paying. Portion sizes were small, and nothing was exceptionally delicious. A couple of us left still hungry even after paying $14+ a plate.
They have two menus listed on their website, a regular dinner menu and a lighter menu with sandwiches and the like. We were not given a light menu when we sat down, and had to ask for it later after some members of our party decided that they did not want anything on the dinner menu.
The salad dressing selections were limited to the few offbeat flavors they sold in their gift shop, which was a disappointment to the pickier eaters we had who were not into the raspberry and lime salad dressings.
The only positive about the Cotton Patch was the view of the water and the collection of farm animals. Needless to say, we won't be returning.
