Im On Vacation!!!
We were staying at a camp ground on 9 and We were hungry. We decided to stop in the CCT to see if we could get some "old bay fries". Miles away from Chickie & Petes" but don't think I don't know about the one on the boardwalk in Wildwood! ;-) We decided to head in and see what the CCT had to offer. When We walked in there was a nice size take-out to the left with some nice selections of liquor and Vino, No Fat Bastard? :-( Â I always like when restaurants down the shore have the menus posted outside so you don't sit down after waiting to be totally disappointed. So thumbs up CCT!
We weren't really sure if We had to seat ourselves so once We got the bartendress attention We were told we could sit anywhere. We got a nice booth that was very cozy, no bars underneath and cool lighting, "upside down pails" a star for creativity always! :) Â It has a nice cowboy/girl feel to it . Don't forget to check out the cowgirl and boy's room and when you come out after washing your hands of course! Check out the MEGA-TOUCH with a saddle to sit in while you play. I kid you not. I'd post a picture of me on it but it's better to experience it for yourself.
After our trip to the wrangler's room and the mega-touch we ordered our drinks! Guinness on tap of course and an Amstel-light for me lady.
My fries came out first and not too soon after the best chicken cheese steak hoagie I ever had. Â The rolls are fresh, the chicken had a nice hickory grilled taste and the fixinz were fresh and the bottom of the roll still crispy. Me lady had a burger that looked and tasted amazing and the roll was fresh.
Not too soon after we arrived my fiance's parents came and had wings and calamari all were amazing and the service was great. The prices were awesome for the shore. The Olympics were on, people were cheering and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely be going back before Labor Day.
Thanks CCT!
For those of us whose shore homes are on the mainland, it doesn't get any better for a kicked back, unplanned, totally casual night out than CCT.  The food is good, plentiful, inexpensive and surprisingly creative for pub food.  With great specials, large drafts, decent  entertainment, and sports on TV, this is a place where you'll fit right in, even if you are (ahem) over 40! The staff is fun and friendly, and they really hustle on crowded summer nights.  These are the nights that start with, "Let's just go up the street to the Tavern, " and end with, "Hey, I had a really good time!"
