Excellent experience there. What happened? Have not been there since 2007. Known Bill and his family since 1995 when we first moved up there.
I love sandwiches, especially subs. I used to enjoy Subway sandwiches until they started slicing their meats so thin you could see through them. So the hunt was on in southern York County for a decent sub sandwich. I found one at the Country Roads Deli on the Mason-Dixon Line south of Stewartstown PA. The American cold cut sub was filled with thick slices of meat and cheese with an excellent flavor. They have a large variety of sandwiches and salads I'll have to try another time. The person who waited on me waited on me was helpful and friendly. She recommended I also try the fries: they were hand cut, crispy on the outside and hot with a deep potato flavor on the inside. All in all, the sandwiches and sides tasted wonderful, although I'm told the pizzas leave something to be desired. I'll definitely be back for another sandwich in the near future.
