The club at Beale AFB has nice facilities, staff that is pleasant, and the food is pretty good. Â The only time I go here is during lunch, or for military events. Â There are so many other communities outside of the base, that the club really does not get a lot of use outside of lunch and events. Â The evenings I can't see the normal regulars like other bases.
Review Source:First thing to remember is where you're at and what your other choices are... You are in Beale and your other choices are Subway or the BK. Â The menu is pretty standard grease, pizzas and sandwiches with a couple of pre-made salad selections. Not impressed with the food and the variety, but I must remind myself that I was in Beale and my other choices were Subway and the BK. Â
Slogan: Â Beale AFB, CA...And you thought Altus was bad
I've never been impressed. Â It seems like the prices are a little high as well. Â The service is hit or miss most of the time.
The food portions are decent. Â This place is located behind the club on base. Â
I guess it's alright if you are stuck on Beale AFB.  The civilians that work there are a little weird about military personnel coming inside to  pick up food to go while carrying guns. Â
I guess all I can say to them is if you don't like seeing guns, don't work on a military base! Â We found it quite insulting to see the bartender make comments, especially since it is a military base and they are sometimes the only place that is open for food on the weekends.
One of my simple pleasures is getting the Sunday paper and a Coyote Run veggie breakfast burrito and sitting on the patio watching the old  duffers play golf.  Not really sure why, but I enjoy it.  Plus their veggie breakfast burritos kick ass.  Not greasy or nuthin.  Their other stuff is so so, but hey, if you're up at Beale of a night, chances are this is the only place that's open!  That is, unless you want to drive 40 minutes to Roseville!
