This place is great, esp. considering it's location. It is out in the middle of no where, and I man nowhere! LoL! They have a great lunch special for $6.00 dollars you get two slices, but they are big, its like your own personal size pizza and a drink. One slice filled me up! All the toppings seem so fresh and are delicious. They are not skimpy with there toppings or with the cheese. I substitute teach at Riverside Preparatory schools and make it a point to get my pizza fill at Cross-Eyed Pizza. I recommend it to everyone! The inside is decorated cute, and the service is exceptional!

As a native Chicagoan, I'm pretty finicky when it comes to pizza but Cross Eyed Cow is the real deal. The BBQ chicken pizza has a cornmeal rolled crust that brings my taste buds back to the Midwest. The owner Jim (as well as his staff) is very personable and we always feel welcome. I'll call the decor "High Desert funkadelic" and it must be experienced to appreciate. For example the front counter is a repurposed aileron from an airplane! This is probably the best pizza in the High Desert and definitely worth a trip.

Awesome pizza joint! Go out of your way if you have to, just get here! I highly recommend the "BBQ Chicken Gone Wild" and the "Poncho Villa." Friendly and helpful staff and unique atmosphere make this a "do not miss!"

I was expecting to be a bit more blown away here.
Though only about 10 minutes from my house, its really in the middle of nowhere, no seriously, Oro Grande looks like a straight up ghost town with this one pizza place.
Strange, the décor is really cool, totally unlike anything in the area, very cool details, and no expenses spared.
You can tell they are trying to get that back, because the prics are what made me knock off another star.
Tiny entrée size salad, that should really be the side instead, I was tempted to ask if she brought  the small size by mistake, but I had a feeling it was really what they were trying to sell as a full size one.
The garlic cheese bread lame, we didn't taste any garlic at all, the cheese nice and stringy but no flavor. Marinara a bit too tangy.
My son had a calzone with ham, Canadian bacon and bacon which he enjoyed, it had a lot of filling but also a bit  too much crust on both sides.
We shared the unlucky cow, basically a supreme and for $23 a bit steep.
I liked the lighter cornmeal crust as well as the toppings which were plenty, the pizza was the highlight and only thing worth getting again here.
$50 was just too expensive for where we are and what we got.
Service is nice, the food came out in good timing, I just wouldn't bother again, a bit of a shame.

Small comfortable place. Wasn't too busy on my visit, but I sense it could fill up.
The service was friendly and informative for our first visit.
A fair number of specialty pizzas, and the usual build your own selection.
Our pizza, for this visit, a BBQ chicken, was very tasty.
Thin crust, but cooked perfectly. Was happy to be able to enjoy the tastes without having to eat a ton of bread to get through the pizza. I don't feel guilty as I usually do with all the extra dough.
I'll surely go back again, as it's just one of those places where you can actually relax and enjoy a meal.

Pizza is the bomb!  Just needs cold beer and it would be perfect.

Maybe I tried the wrong item from the menu. I mean, it IS a pizza place and I, instead chose to get the Hot Wings....wow -that was a mistake. The only restaurant for miles, literally. Not much to look at from the outside, but clean and nice on the inside. Stopped by at lunch time, the place was less than half full, but it still took full 25 min to get the wings. Yes they were wings and yes they were hot (in temperature). They were lightly covered in seasoning salt and a buffalo wing sauce...and they were SOFT. As if they were microwaved and put in a bowl. Ugh. My wife still thinks that they weren't cooked, the thought makes me queezy still. Like I said, its my own fault -I ordered wings from a pizza joint. I am unwilling to give this place a 2nd chance. I blew 10 bucks and 30 min of my life.

My husband and I love this place. Unique kinds of pizza, along with t the regular stand by's (Pepperoni). Enjoy a salad with your pizza along with their Garlic Knots.... yummy! the owner is very friendly... makes you feel really welcome. They have done a great job on the décor! I just wish it was in Apple Valley instead of Oro Grande.

Great little place in Oro Grande, a part of me want to give them five stars just because they are in Oro Grande but then to be fair to CECP they need to be ranked against other pizza places and not their small town.
Cool funky Route 66 restraunt with a hearty tasty Pizza.

I hesitate to give Cross Eyed Cow Pizza 5 stars as I'm hoping that they don't change their quality before the next time I visit - which will definitely be soon. For me, the test of a pizza is my favorite sausage and onion combo. At Cross Eyed Cow, I found the sausage to be real sausage, not those little pellets I've had at some pizza places. That's the first plus. The second was the onions. The onions had a great sweet taste, and came chopped in a variety of different sized pieces, indicating to me that either they chopped their onions on site, or ordered pre-sliced from a quality provider. The sauce had the right tang to it. It had no tinny canned taste, almost believing that it had been prepared fresh in the kitchen. Lastly, the crust had the right amount of crispness on the edge, yet the center held up to the sauce, cheese, and ingredients. I am SO hoping this place can make a go of it. Really good pizza with really good ingredients. I hope they don't start cutting corners here and there. I'll be back soon as I want to try a few of their Specialty Pizzas. This place is along Historic Rt 66 (National Trails Highway) just north of Victorville. The next time you're traveling, have a stop. We'll all appreciate them staying in business! Oh, yes, there are some great antique places just north and south of the pizza place, so make a day of it in Oro Grande!

Let's try this again, not sure why my first review is not posting.  This place is great! Reasonable prices compared to other pizza joints in the area. They could do some coupons/specials to drum up some more business to get things going. The decor is worth a visit alone.
