What can I say about this place? Â Tucked away on a stretch of highway that is littered with vineyards, ranches, and open fields, Crossroads Cafe sits back off the road completely unassumingly.
While driving out there for business, my husband and I decided to stop in and see what they had. Â First of all, Beth -- the owner, chef, server, dishwasher, and hostess -- was completely full of energy and upbeat. Â
We both ordered hamburgers and -- WOW! Â These babies were fresh, handmade, and full of flavor! Â I know that as a novice "foodie" that oftentimes the kiss of death can be to play it safe on a menu. Â In this case, however, it was anything but safe! Â Boasting of fresh ingredients and homemade flair, Beth has a winner here!
OH! Â I almost forgot (sacrilege) Beth and her daughter's amazing homemade jams and jellies that are completely preservative free. Â YUMMMY! Â If you find yourself cruising along HWY 83 & HWY 82, stop by! Â Say hi to Beth and enjoy an amazing meal!
