Of the various restaurants in the surrounding area of where I live, this probably is probably my favorite. The atmosphere is comparable to a 1900's hunting lodge with a broad variety of choices on the menu. I've never really had a bad experience here and have been going for years. I personally recommend it if you happen to come across it.
My recommendation: honey-dipped fried chicken
En route to Cleveland from Toronto, we stopped in Crainsville for dinner. We were first time Crainsville visitors without any bars on our phone so we had to rely on the GPS to find a restaurant. It can be hit or miss - luckily it was the former.
Service was excellent; the minute we walked in, we were greeted and seated right away. Crowley's has been around for over fifty years so they know the restaurant business. Our server was super attentive with waters and came by often to see how we were enjoying our food. When you first walk in, this place seems small, but it's quite spacious with heaps of tables. Pricing is average - on average, you can get a dinner entree for $12-15. The food is a-ok here; the menu is extensive and there's something for everyone. If you're in the area, why not check out Crowley's.
Good for: dinner, big groups
