It was a bad week. Â My wife (age 43) informed me that she had been carrying on an affair for the past 3 months with a 22 year old lifty from nearby Whitefish Mountain Resort. Â "I'd like a divorce," she said. Â
I skipped therapy and dealt with my problems the traditional way--by downing two bottles of 2010 Louis Jadot Beaujolais-Villages.
Where did I go to do this? Â Crush Wine Bar, thats where. Â Lively and upbeat, Crush was the perfect antidote to my melancholy. Â Â The place was brimming with young beauties who looked as though they'd be equally comfortable shredding sick pow as they would discussing the risks of credit derivatives with Jamie Dimon. Â Crush is refreshingly devoid of any trace of Pichuly, which seems to follow Western Montana girls around like a hungry puppy.
I left Crush with the digits of three hotties and an invitation to visit the private "dungeon" of a fit middle-aged couple! Â Bitch can have her broke 22 year old!
Crush is A++++++
These guys are under new ownership and are getting all the kinks worked out. They've got about six beers on tap and half pice everything on mondays.
Its a fun place and can make for a great spot for you and your crew to chill.
They also have a roll down screen to watch whatever sport is in season. I'm pretty sure they do private parties as well.
Service was spectacular! Can bring your dog here. Fun place to just hang out! The owner was great and we had a refreshing conversation with her about the Whitefish area. We also talked about how she is different from other wine bars. SHe has a good location. If you are a fan of places that are a little more upscale and like to hang out... This is for you!
Review Source:Being run by a 22 year old who apparently doesn't know what she's doing (but it's her dad's money, so what does she care).
When you go to a WINE bar, you expect both quality and quantity in terms of wine...neither of which this appears to have (and they were even out of two of the few wines offered). Â The service was good, considering what they had to work with and the atmosphere is nice...but the wine just did not stand out at all.
The owner would do well to take some advice from customers and her own staff as far as running the place.
