Good location,  price good for a tourist town, friendly owner operator. Room clean and comfortable, decor  was a little dated needed to git rid of the teddy bear framed pictures and the country charm, bed linens were a bit worn and could use an update. Coffee was ready at 5:30AM and the breakfast was OK for the price and place.
Review Source:We stayed here during our trip to Tierra Amarilla to bring my grandma's ashes home to where she was born. Â She was born there and also spent time as a child in Chama. Â It was a really important trip and this inn was a highlight and a wonderful reminder of why my grandmother loved NM so much. Â The owners are wonderful, down to earth and helpful. Family owned and operated with all the touches of home. You don't feel like you are staying in a motel room, you feel like you have been invited to stay with great friends. Â It's welcoming, homelike and a great deal. Â Breakfast was simple, the rooms clean and comfortable and they have fridges and a comfy dining room with a microwave and sitting area. Â Chama itself was so great. We loved it there, my 10 year old son said Chama and this inn was his favorite part of the trip even without a pool and that says a lot coming from him. Â I also had to work during the trip and they had wifi that worked pretty good. It went down once and the owner gave the router a jiggle like he was fixing a car and it went right back up. Â As someone who spends way too much time with tech-geeks he was a refreshing reminder to not take ourselves and our laptop lives too seriously, sometimes a jiggle is all you need to fix something. Â ;-) Â Loved it, plan on coming back and staying at Cumbres Suites for sure.
