Cup of Joe

To call Cup of Joe a Cedar Falls institution doesn't begin to fit the bill. A staple of downtown for over a decade, "the Cup" is a perfect mix of local share and retro flare. While you will certainly find more delicate blends of coffee in large metropolitan areas, Cup of Joe is a standout for a medium sized community such as Waterloo/Cedar Falls. With local artists displaying on the walls and live music on Thursday nights, Cup of Joe is a great place to grab coffee, a treat and people watch.

I have been a longtime costumer and after, what I believe is 8 years now, I still receive a warm smile and friendly conversation with the employees and owner. I enjoy going in there as often as I do because it's a fun place and I like that they change the artwork up every so often and keep things fresh. A must visit for any coffee aficionado.

Great place- if yo are a regular they remember your drink.  Good place to hang out.  Much better than many other options in the area.

I've rarely been disappointed- usually excellent!
