Da Luca Cafe & Wine Bar

Really excellent tapas, good wine list, and good service. My husband and I went for a Valentine's Weekend dinner, and we flipped for the duck mac and cheese, beef medallions. Veggie tapas, like goat cheese butternut squash risotto and roasted brussel sprouts with asiago, are also really tasty. Would recommend again and again!

I have been a patron at Da Luca's since its opening. Everything is exemplary from the Mediterranean decor to the tastes, textures and aromas of fine wines and culinary delights. The hospitality of the staff is welcoming and comfortable. The chef is well educated in cooking techniques and presentation. An excellent choice for the discerning palate and a wonderful delight for the green palate. My most recent experience with the petite tender was memorable. The staff are always accommodating and strive to raise the bar on customer service.

Had an impromptu "date" with my bride at da Luca the other day and We were quite displeased.  We ordered tapas and not one of the plates  were very good at all.  mussels: gritty, short ribs: dry, but the worst offense was the sinew in the Tuna that made that plate inedible and we sent it back. We mentioned it to our server who indicates that "they" apologized.  We assumed "they" meant the chef and the manager.  We were shocked that "they" charged us for the Tuna.  We decided right there we would not make a scene by refusing to pay.  We felt it sent more of a message that we informed our server we would not be returning.  This was not our first visit, but being patient folks, third times a charm or three strikes and your out.  We will not be back and we suggest you save your money.  Also,  between our order and the next table, they were out of many ingredients; a sign of things to come???? Very disappointing to think da Luca and Anna's are next to each other in OTV and neither are worth a visit.  We are hoping something changes as we would love to spend our money locally.
