Dairy Maid

Good, cheap place to eat lunch otw to the beach.  Hot wings were pretty mild, but good.  Friendly folks.

I wouldn't go to Myrtle Beach any other way.  Dairy Maid is a must stop for bacon, chili cheeseburgers.  I doubt this place has changed much since it opened, and I hope it never does.  I don't even mind going next door to the gas station/fireworks store to use the restroom.  Burgers tasted great on soft, fluffy buns and they serve State Fair corn dogs (which I assume are frozen and fried upon order) for the kids.  Next trip ... milkshakes!

If you happen to get lost while driving from Myrtle Beach up to Raleigh you may stumble upon the cute and quaint fast food joint known as the Dairy Maid. It's like there version of Suzies, but with tables and half the menu. Thick milk shakes, greasy burgers and chili cheese fries that can kill. Dairy maid leaves you full, smiling and ready to get out of North Carolina and get back on the highway. Cute little place, where you'll hear a lot of talk about "I thought you'd be on your second baby by now" and "ma'am"
