I can't believe that I'm giving DQ 5 stars but hear me out. Between 11am-4pm they have a $5 lunch menu. For $5 I had 3 crispy and tender chicken strips, fries, a cup of gravy for the fries and/or chicken, unlimited soda, and a small sundae with hot fudge drizzle. All for $5. What a bargain! That's $1 per Yelp star. It doesn't get any better than that.
Review Source:Mandatory stops on any trip to Gearhart: Â the spring to fill up water and DQ for dipped cones or corndogs. Â This time it was corndogs all around. Â I think the woman working the drive thru was also cooking as it took over five minutes for our dogs, but hot damn (literally) they were nice and crunchy. Â And chicken too, which negates the fried food factor. Â Right? Â Riigggggghhht?
Didn't stop for dipped cones on the way back but as all patriotic Americans know, dipped cones are one of God's most magnificent creations. Â Victoria Falls, the Grand Canyon, Great Barrier Reef, DQ chocolate-vanilla cone dipped in chocolate, not necessarily in that order. Â I would eat one every day if My Fitness Pal let me.
So if you're hungry on that seemingly eternal trek to the ocean, DQ it up.
