Dakota Magic Casino & Hotel

We had a very nice lunch buffet here. There was a  large selection of main courses, salads, sides, desserts, and drinks. Everything we tried was simply good. A sample: fried oysters, glazed chicken, liver and onions, turkey breast, stuffing and gravy, rice pilaf, asparagus, sugar-free cherry pie, coconut cream pie. For $12 each this was a very nice value. Good job!

The rooms aren't anything incredible, but are very inexpensive and they seemed very clean. If you like casinos, they've got blackjack, craps and some other table games with relatively low buy-ins.

I'll keep this short and sweet... this is like a Super 8 with a casino attached.
The rates are cheap but service can be a bit slow.

While waiting to get checked-in, I heard another customer say that she has been waiting for a roll-away bed for almost 30 minutes. It also took about 20 minutes for us to get our room. If you stay here, make sure you get and bring your confirmation number.
