This local place is pretty awesome. Tooling around Arcadia, on a break from the in-laws, I decided to hit up this place on a whim and deter from my original course (which was Burger King in Gap Farms-but when I saw the lot more full than ever aaaand a FEW buses, I kept moving) and hit up the strip right next to it and saw this place. Starving, knowing it was new, but knowing nothing else about it, I went in. I had hoped they might have a buffet, because I was starving, but no buffet and no ready made slices. This place is dine in or pick up (whole pies, muffalettas and salads. I ordered an 8 inch pie, a "Dandy's Special"- as I have said in previous Yelp reviews, it has been my experience that when venturing into someplace strange and new, to order the item that bears the establishment's names. So, again, I did just that, following my very own protocol. A Dandy's Special has Pepperoni, hamburger, green and black olives, onion and bell pepper with optional jalapenos (which I said, heck yeah put 'em on there) I was worried an 8 inch might not fill me up, but when it showed up at my table 10 to 15 minutes later, piping hot and delicious, full and I mean, FULL of all the aforementioned ingredients, I was no longer worried. I chowed it ALL down and it was magnificent! The8 inch house special ran me a little over 8 bucks with tax and all. Not too bad. Being such a rural area, this place doesn't deliver, but it's worth the drive! Again, this place is LOCAL and it's the only one in existence! It is NOT part of a chain...yet.
