This was my 2d trip to Stark Vegas but my first time here. Â I like the place!! Â Small, dark, seedy...Dive bar all the way. Â Drinks were reasonable and staff was on the ball.
Only drawback for me was the live music..I know how can live music be bad but in this tiny little joint the sound can be overpowering but hey roll with it and that's what I did.
I never found the outside patio area but that's no big. Â I'll hunt it down next time I'm up there.
Because I will definitely be back!!!
I can't comment much on the food, but I can say that as far as bars go this is my favorite in Starkville. The bartenders and staff are all friendly (if not a bit eccentric) and the small inside makes it feels comfortable and laid-back. You don't have to battle to get to the bar to order drinks and I always seems to know someone or meet someone new every time I go. Trivia night on Wednesdays is the BEST! The live music they bring in is always fun too.
Review Source:When crowded: Â 1*. Â I can't stand it. Â The service is dreadfully bad. Â This place is all about keeping costs low, and that includes a fatally understaffed waiting service.
When uncrowded between 3 and 7: Â 5* Â Half off draft beer, wine, and wells turns this place into a gem. Â As long as there are fewer than 30 people here, you will be able to enjoy yourself. Â Plus, it's sometimes enjoyable to go out to a place where you don't really need to worry about waiters. Â Grab a beer at the bar and have a seat!
The food is all pretty good, albeit unhealthy. Â Just don't expect to get in-and-out quickly during crowded times.
