I arrived mid-afternoon on a Saturday. Â The bar was very dark, so dark it took a good 15-20 minutes for my eyes to fully adjust.
The tiled, horseshoe-shaped bar was filled with middle aged an older people, as one would expect this time of day. Â The cavernous interior of brick and concrete made it loud with even just a dozen patrons, so the somewhat timid bartender was very hard to hear.
The bar's entertainment includes pool tables, some sort of video poker type games, a jukebox, and a stage for live entertainment.
From talking to others, it seems this bar draws some its patrons from up to 40 miles away.
