When I received my order, I swear it was as if a 5 year old packed the to go containers as there was sauce, complete with hand marks, all over both meat containers.  In retrospect, it was a stupid question on my part - of course there are no damp towels to clean off the containers before I headed back down the interstate.
I reluctantly received a napkin, wet and held over 3 more napkins as if I would suddenly be concerned with a potential mess.
She couldn't slam the window quick enough.
My puppy did however enjoy the dry ham!  What a thoughtless place ....

The best Dickey's I have visited. The bar was not high when we stopped for lunch, but to our surprise, the staff was very friendly, the portions (chopped beef sandwich) were generous, and the dining room was spotless.  Also, the washroom was very clean!! I wish all Dickey's locations mimicked this location.
Another thing I noticed was the music playing.  It was old country, not modern country, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable.

stopped here on the way home from an East Coast road trip. We should have skipped it just because at 6:30pm on a Friday, there were only three cars out front, a bad sign for such a large place. We were hungry and in a hurry, so we ate here. Tables were sticky, it seemed three teenagers were running the whole place, and food was below mediocre. The meat was all wrapped in plastic, which the line server unwrapped to slice for us. There doesn't seem to be a pit onsite. The sides were all skinned over in their trays. Bleah. Never again. Live and learn.

We have been eating at Dickey's for many years however this location was new for us. We stopped along the way while on a trip south and ran across this location which appeared to be very new. There was plenty of parking outside the front door. The place was clean and we were greeted by a  very courteous staff. Ordered the bar b q along with fried okra which they did not have ready so they cooked us an order. When that okra arrived at the table it was a very large serving. The bar b q was very good and tasted moist and fresh. Had the free soft serve ice cream. This is one of the nicest Dickey's locations we have ever stopped at.

Brisket was moist & tender. Great selection of sides. My husband thought the sausage was better than what we get in Elgin TX.

This chain serves tender barbecue, although without much if any smoke flavor. The sides are self-serve, and pretty lackluster. An OK stop if you have to get a meal, but if you want true barbecue you should keep driving. There is free ice cream......

This place is fairly standard for a sit-in BBQ restaurant. I have to say the selling point for me are the free ice cream cones for everyone! The meat is juicy and the sides are all precooked sitting in tubs for you to choose from - so those are hit and go. Their salad is good and fresh. I recommend the Caesar dressing. [A sandwich, salad, drink and two sides + free ice cream cone less than $12.] Extremely convenient for business travelers being walking distance next to a Hampton Inn and Comfort Inn.
