Passed the turn for Chloride, AZ a hundred times, and never stopped until now. Sign says 4 miles but it's even less. SO worth it. Fun place, ultra-friendly owners, and yummy food & bevs! Overall, 10x better than Rt. 66 places. Worth stopping for!

We received wonderful hospitality from the owners of Digger Dave's in Chloride, AZ.
We were just out for a day trip through Arizona and wanted to see the Ghost Town of Chloride.  Well, it's not truly a ghost town but it is quite small.  Our lunch was tasty and if I ever was in the area, I would go back.

How I love Digger Daves and Chloride! I swear, this is the kind of place that makes me so giddy to be an Arizonan. Digger Daves is smack dab in the middle of this awesome little "ghost" town between Kingman & Vegas (way closer to Kingman). I discovered this place over spring break, and recently visited again over the weekend.

I have found the people of Chloride to be warm and friendly, and the owner of Digger Daves is extremely friendly and welcomes you in. He showed my kids how to use the jukebox and play all kinds of crazy, funky old songs. Monster Mash, anyone? My kids love the place. There is old memorabilia and eye candy everywhere you look, but it's completely authentic and just fits in with what the old west is.

About 4 miles east of the 93, it is definitely worth a stop for a snack, lunch, dinner, or a beer at the bar (not if you're driving though, thanks). I am quite shocked at how good the food is! This time we just had a BLT, fries, and a grilled cheese to split between us (it was a snack), and everything was really good. Service is friendly and efficient, it's just an awesome place.

Bonuses: Sign your name outside on the deck with the magic marker they provide! Stop at the neighboring Ye Ol Shoppe for ice cream, walk around the old ghost town, visit the little museum (that is a whole different review, it's so great), and take the kiddos to the nearby Chloride Park with its old school teeter totter and metal slide (ok, so maybe not in the summer)... and you've got yourself one heck of a road trip break. Great photo ops too, so bring your good camera!

Had the Pork Burrito for lunch...One of the best I have eaten! Friendly atmosphere and Old Town charm. Antiques to buy, bar available, and great food!

Adorable little restaurant off the beaten path!  Delicious home cooked meals.  They serve breakfast lunch and dinner and have a fantastic bar area.  Lots of character is this historic little town.  I highly suggest stopping by and checking it out, for some great food, great people and ice cold beer!
