Dixie Pig BBQ & Donuts

Loved the boudin pigs and my kids loved the donuts!

So.... Dubs BBQ is no more and in its place is Dixie Pig BBQ and Donuts.  Hmm... Donuts and BBQ sorta like Chinese and pizza usually you do one or the other good but both are seldom done well.  We can't comment on the donuts but the BBQ was the suck.  Staff was pleasant but the food was not. We both got the BBQ brisket and it was a sandwich full of fat and gristle.. My dog was with us (in the car) and I decided to share our dinner with the trash bin instead of him.  We went across the street to Pizza Inn and had a fine meal with staff that has personality to the moon.  Supposedly its just opened and hopefully they are getting their sea legs and will be better but.. 2 things are certain.. Dubs it is not and if you believe the saying.. you only have 1 shot to make a first impression. .. they failed miserably.
