I use to go to this place on a regular basis. Â Most people would probably know of it for their bar, not their food. Â I feel sorry for them on that part.
The place is divided into two parts. Â The bar side and the restaurant side. Â The restaurant side is set up like your typical place to eat at. Â Tables, chairs, placemats and a few decorations hanging on the wall. Â The bar side is set up like your typical bar. Â U-shaped bar, high tables, regular tables and sports/beer signs hanging everywhere. Â Pool tables are also available for you if you wish to play a game while you wait for your food to be prepared. Â They do have a backroom available for meetings or private parties. Â Full bar. Â Lottery machine inside as well.
I've had a variety of the items on their menu and I really cannot for the life of me find anything bad out of it all. Â Their rodeo burger makes me happy in all the right places, the best place being in my stomach. Â Nice size patty with cheese, a homemade onion ring and BBQ sauce on it. Â I used to get this with a side of either pizza fries or taco fries. Â The pizza fries are waffle cut fries with a nice big serving of marinara sauce on top, pepperoni and mozzarella. Â The taco fries have a nice serving of taco meat, jalapenos and cheddar. Â (My mouth is watering thinking about them) Â I've also had their hot turkey sandwich with all the fixings, very good. Â But my most favorite thing on the menu that I must, must, MUST have are the fried pickles. Â Dill pickles with a nice Italian coating. Â Nothing can describe them.
The business is family owned and operated, most times one of the family members are there working. Â Great place to get a bite to eat if you are north of the city.
