OK, this is basically the perfect bar. Â I hear about this place a couple years ago from another ex-Genevan who insisted it was the best drinking establishment on earth. Â I had to see for myself. Â Oh, how right he was.
A brief list of the reasons I love this place:
-drink prices: top-shelf shots were $3
-jukebox: NOTHING but metal and country. Â Fuck yeah!!!
-tables made from old bowling alley lanes
-free wings for no apparent reason the last night I went there
-the dumbwaiter: if you want a snack from the drive-through liquor store below, the bartender will put your money in it, yell down the hole ("KC Masterpiece chips and a hard pack of Marlboro Lights!"), send the bucket down, and pull up the bucket containing your order and change a minute later. Â Brilliant, eh?
I want to scoop up this entire place and just dump it around the corner from my house.
