Where to start? Â Well, the food is basic Ameri-asian cuisine. Â House fried, general tso encrusted whatever. Â Giant fake paintings on the wall? Â Check. Â Asian screaming coming from the kitchen? Double check. Â Think I'm being watched in the bathroom? Â I won't go there. Â
This place isn't special. Â Not even the "specials" on the menu are special. Â After eating "chicken" sliced so thin it had the consistency of pig ear, I refuse to eat nearly anything here. Â You could do worse though. Â You might confuse some motor oil at NAPA for a steak. Â But if that happens, I'd stop worrying about Asian food, and focus on more pressing matters...
If you're looking for something "not a chain" driving along route 16, this might do it. Don't expect too much.
I tried the general tso with pineapples (chef special for $5). Lots of breading, not much chicken. Thick sweet sauce, not quite you'd expect for a general tso chicken. The white rice was overcooked. The portion was good, for the price.
