When your meal peaks at the spicy salsa, well what else can you say? Â I admit I went safe. Â Beef enchilada and chile relleno combo, not the most challenging order. Â The enchilada was very bland, but the relleno was very good with nice mix of cheeses over half chili pepper. Â But the rice and beans were about as bland as possible. Â A little spice in rice, maybe some flavor in beans. Â Well, the sweet tea was good. Â Find another exit to stop at, really. Â They have a lot of other places around here.
Review Source:Tacos Asada with corn tortilla, cilantro and onions (lunch)...is maybe 5 bux and delicious.
Spicy ceviche is excellent.
The whole fired fish is excellent.
The tomatillo salsa is a must. Â Order it plain or If you like smokey spice try the spicy tomatillo (combinade) with a chipotle like paste. Â
Pulled pork tacos are excellent.
All around this is an above average Mexican place.
Avoid the standard combo's here and you will find some very good food.
i went here a few times while staying in Duncan because it was across the street from my hotel, had drinks and delicious spicy jalapeno eggs ("huevos el mexacana.")
while the food quality was not mind blowing, everything was pretty decent, reasonably priced and service was fun and efficient. Â also, this bar has the only signs of life on the whole street, which is otherwise almost entirely devoid of non-chain food and drink options. Â
so if you wanna catch some latin american soccer games and a margarita in this area, give it a shot.
