Very cool establishment.  Very comfortable.  Intimate.  Large, soft sofas and seating areas.  Lots of wines to choose from.  They do have a few wine-friendly foods on their menu, but in lieu of a kitchen, you're welcome to bring in entrées from any local establishment to enjoy with your wine.  And prices are downright reasonable.  It's clear these folks simply want their guests to be relaxed, at ease, and having a good time.  They certainly succeed at that. Â
We visited as part of our homecoming / reunion festivities, and had an absolute blast. Â DeLand was busy (the place was hopping!) with their annual live music festival. Â That didn't prevent the Elusive Grape from being friendly and efficient with their service. Â We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Â And I'll happily visit again, when I'm next in DeLand. Holler if you're coming with!
Deland's wine bar. Very well stocked with a very comfortable atmosphere. Lots of couches and comfy chairs to enjoy a glass of wine and chat with most of Deland's old guard. Age range is 30 plus with live music on most Friday and Saturdays. Prices are very fair with no cork fees on bottles purchased in-house.
