Error Records

The only all ages music venue in Champaign, hosting a variety of shows for all genres of music. Not to mention the storefront of the venue is a record store/art gallery.

This is the best place in town to buy underground punk, metal, and hardcore records, which they specialize in. They sell some CDs and DVDs but right now it's primarily vinyl. There is a small tape section too, which is also accompanied by a great local section showcasing local releases and labels.

To me the best part about this store is just having a meeting place where people into underground music can meet, talk, hang out, see a show, and buy a record. A space like Error Records is necessary for the progression of the DIY music community and I'm glad it's located smack dab right in the heart of Champaign.
