  Hard to review a place on the day before it closed, but I understand the local people really liked this place.  This was the first time we went here, had a beer, and met the owner.  She was a very nice gal who took us on a tour and told us stories of the place.  This place has been a tavern since the 1800's.  Over a hundred years of laying drinks down, I have got to give that five stars.  It is really a shame that this place is closing!

  This is your typical family run hole in the wall and I LOVE hole in the wall bars. The thing that was surprising was how HUGE this place is. There was the main bar area, an upper tier, and then a huge back room. The theme of this bar is definitely parlor games because there are dart boards EVERYWHERE and a pool table on the upper tier. The owner told me to call her Mom because that's what everyone calls her and she was a great host. Beers were cheap, but don't expect anything fancy on tap. Great group of people inside the bar too. If you like playing darts or just liking drinking beers with good locals then this is the place for you.
