This is a neat little cafe. The place is small (20 people max) and covered wall to wall with 1950's era record sleeves and posters. One one side, it's a little diner with Elvis piping in over the speakers. Chelsey, our waitress, was dresses in a poodle skirt while Joe, the owner and chef, looked over her shoulder, paper hat on his head, and a wide smile across his face. The food was simple and satisfying. French toast, corn beef hash, toast, eggs over easy, and generous glasses of orange juice. The other side was a mid-century antique museum of things Joe collected over the years - mixers, guitars, a sewing machine, oven, typewriter and more memorabilia on the walls. Chelsey and Joe chatted with us while we ate, asking where we were from (North Carolina), how we found his diner, etc. He gave us a walkthrough of the 'museum' and a autographed book written by his friend with a gnome on the cover which was taken from Joe's yard. If it wasn't for Yelp we never would've found this place but my wife and I are so glad we did.
