Has the feel of an authentic diner. Menu variety is lacking and food quality is average. The bar is open early and has two televisions. Not much of a scene for the young crowd but good enough to have a beer with friends.

The toast was good... Our waitress was a frigid old wench who hates her job nothing pleasant about her. The only thing pleasant about the other girl who came on staff was her tits hanging out and her skirt just below her ass. Didn't really get the whole wholesome small town treasure vibe. There was so much oil soaked into my hash browns America was trying to invade my plate. Bacon and sausage were ok if you like heat and serve food. I am glad there was salt and pepper at the table cause there was definitely none in my food. So the toast was good but not good enough to ever come back here again.

I wouldn't change a thing! This is not a fine dining establishment. This is where you go for unpretentious, authentic, old-timey atmosphere and good solid American cuisine.

Food is sub par, very oldschool decor and in need of a major renovation .

Food is ok. Not very friendly at all. Went for lunch and got the evil scowl from an older waitress. Don't think she can crack a smile. You would think they would focus on friendliness. It was 1:00pm and we were 1 of 2 customers inside.

The food isn't great, but it's been there forever and an old school institution.

I'd give it a 2.5 stars.  It's a typical freeway exit cafe.  Everyone was friendly and the food wasn't too bad actually.  You actually get a lot of food.  If there was a movie that needed to be filmed and 1) they were in the central valley and 2) they need a cafe that looks like it's from the late 60's/ early 70's this is the place.

Just tried this place out today.. its horrible...taco bells food tastes better and the service is so slow just like the atmosphere. The waiters don't know what they are doing or don't care after all they are 85 year olds!!! I ordered a grilled cheese and it tasted like cardboard! How can you mess up a grilled cheese!?!?! If i could give this place negative stars i would!!save your money go to in n out burger!

If you want canned food, this is the place.I would recommend it.
From the can to your plate. Awful. I went there , they forgot to bring some of the food. The food smelled as it came out of  can and it did. Even the fruit desert. I think at the bar they charge peanuts too. A V O I D.

If you are lookin' for some down-home cookin' this is the place.  It reminds me of a place my long gone grandma would take me for those special Friday night dinners.  Nothing special here (other than nostalgia).  Just meat and potatoes. Waitresses look as if they have been working here since the 50's.  Probably keep them in the back in a vat of formaldehyde.

We stopped by here instead of fast food on a road trip.  It was better (and more expensive) than fast food.  It is decent white trash food.  I had the club sandwhich, with store-bought pre-packaged style deli meat.  It was salty.  It was served on gushy white bread. It was satisfying.

My daughter had a PB&J that she said was like candy, though she didn't eat much of it.  I was glad they had PB&J on the menu, otherwise she said she was only eating french fries.

My husband had a 2 egg breakfast that he said was a very good just regular breakfast.

This place is definately nothing fancy, but it's not bad either.  If you miss the type of food your white trash granny used to serve you on summer visits, or you just want something other than fast food right off the highway, I would recommend going here.  If you're looking for a meal that has some entertainment or culinary value, choose someplace else.

My bikie friends and I were frickin' hungry when we showed up at Farnesi's for a weekend morning breakfast, and let me tell you this weekend morning breakfast did not disappoint.

We started with an order of pancakes for the table, which the waitress (complete with faux 'attitude') brought as an appetizer. I had some darn good biscuits & sausage gravy, crispy hash browns, maybe some scrambled eggs, I don't even remember. Everything was hot and good and cheap. And the coffee, while execrable, was refilled no fewer than three times during our meal.

We had dinner there tonight.   We waited 20 minutes before we were even brought any waters.  The service really sucked.  The food was good but they are so slow!  Go there only if you have lots of time.  They do give you lots of food.
