I come here quite a bit, yet I keep forgetting to yelp it. This is a place that I know I'll always be satisfied. Now, this is definitely a burger/steak bar & grille. It's totally low key, casual, laid back, with tons of baseball memorabilia every where.

Growing up in the town of Southampton, this is a place where you could get a burger that's way better than McDonald's without costing you an arm and leg. Burgers here are delicious and pretty damn large. I think all the burgers are under $10.  Steaks are priced reasonably. I had a ribeye there for $20! Great deal! If anything, definitely try the ribs. They are so tender, the meat literally falls off the bone! Soo yummy!!!!!

Just to let you know, this place isn't fancy. Nothing has changed there in years. I've been going there for 15 years, and nothing has changed except for the servers. Lol the service has a diner feel to it.... But in a good way. Waiters are pleasant and food comes in a timely manner. The food doesn't come out like its a work of art and don't expect a large variety of wines. It is what is it is on the menu.

There's plenty of parking since there's a parking lot across the street and behind the restaurant. Oh yea, they do not have AC so on a hot day, prepare to sweat. They might have it now, but from what I could recall, they didn't have AC, but the front of the restaurant is surrounded by sliding doors so they usually keep those open.

This place is a gem in an over priced bougie town. It may not be for everyone but its a place where I could take break from fine dining and enjoy some comfort food.

All I have to say is Friday night steak night!! YUM where else can you get a massive Tbone for $15?? Not only are the steaks great but the twice baked potatoes are something I really miss.  I had a marinated ribeye, $14 and HUGE, that was cooked med rare and was more than satisfied.

We have been here a lot and all in all the food is good bar food and you can get some really good specials as well. It gets 4 stars not 5 because the service can get a little slow but the staff is always nice and accommodating.

From the other reviews looks like next time I am going in I'm getting some Scallops and the Roast Duck!  Can't wait, love to have a decently priced place in the Village.

Awesome roasted duck.  Bartender was great, and the atmosphere was very friendly.  There is a lot of memorabilia to see at Fellingham's.

I self proclaimed as a tourist and asked around for somewhere to eat with the family for a casual lunch. Someone suggested Fellingham and then another person agreed that it is a good casual place! It was a bar with an open air semi-outdoor space to eat and we sat outside facing the parking lot. Location was not outstanding as you cannot people watch like the other restaurants on the main street. It's located on the side street near the Citibank or was it Chase bank. My son ordered a burger, he loved it. My husband had a grilled chicken burger, the flavor of the chicken was to die for. My daughter had a chicken strips and it was great too. I ordered a bass (fish) burger and it was just awesome! Fish was juicy and with the tartar sauce on the side, I added a little to the burger for a taste but not covering up the fish taste. It was an economic way to eat at the Hampton! Good eat!!!!

Just a great local eatery filled with Yankee memorabilia. Good fresh food at sane prices. And they're open later than most places in the area.

Fellingham's is not world-class food. It is not filled with white-tableclothed glitz.
It is, however, a fun place with a lovely outdoor eating area with great down-home service, good food (we had lunch there) and prices well below the market locally in Southampton.

The food is delicious, the service and surroundings fun, and its one of the best dining buys in the Hamptons. Three of us had lunch for under $30, including tip. We had a burger, a turkey burger, and a sausage ad onions sandwich, all with crisp, delicious french fries.

In a part of the world where you can get a great hamburger for $18 dollars, why not have that same burger, just as delcious, for $7 or so -- in a fun place, full of atmosphere. Centrally located downtown, it is surrounded by restursants where I could have paid $30 a head, in some cases with much worse results.

Again, the Hamptons is filled with some pricey, world-class places. This is not one of them. It is fun, a local hangout, a solid value, and for what it is, it's a great buy. In terms of service & food, I'd give it a solid 4. If you factor in price, I'd give it a 6 :-)

This place will be high on my list when I come back to Southampton.

My husband and I were recently at Fellingham's with his great aunt who frequents the bar/restaurant. We ordered his burger well before the evening rush.

My husband's burger was ordered medium rare and it was really raw inside - mushy in the center, the way it comes packaged in the supermarket. When he discovered this, he stopped eating it, as he was feeling sick. When he spoke up to the waitress, she said she'd see what she could do since he had already bitten his way around the center.

He felt as if his money should be reimboursed for the poorly cooked, expensive meal. We spoke to the owner, who knew my husband's aunt, and we were surprised at how she was arguing with us about it! We feel as if she should not have charged us for it, as a courtesy, to keep her client happy. Instead she blamed us for not speaking up sooner. She said she was busy now and then left the table.

She sent the bill to us via the waitress without any discount. We thought she was very rude, and should really have treated us as if the "client is always right".

We will not return to Fellingham's.

Located down an alley off Main Street, this bar and restaurant is a place where you can truly rub elbows with the locals, guys like Joe, Whitey and Willy.

Sit at the front corner of the bar and check out all the Islanders' memorabilia. Yes, that's a photo of the famous Bobby Nystrom goal that delivered the Cup to NY back in 1980 and started a dynasty. Inside the cozy dining area are more photos on the walls, primarily of the NY Yankees -- Thurman, Babe, Lou, Yogi, Mickey, Joe D....

The food is also pretty good. I couldn't decide between the burger, fried chicken and soft shell crab on special -- the friendly server gave me her opinion and a story about each. I opted for the crab and wasn't disappointed by the fried, fresh critter.

It's worth noting that this place is included in Esquire Magazine's listing of the Best Bars in America. While this place is definitely cool and old-school.

Indeed, Fellingham's is the way the Hamptons were and still are, at least to some of us. A friendly, local place on the east end of Long Island.

Please tell Willy I said hi.

Best burger in town-- still no Magic's though. Small bar. Be sure to check out the tons of sports memorabilia. Lots of daily specials.

I never thought I'd be rapt about a wrap but this place serves the juiciest scallop sensation!!

It is sooooooo not what you'd expect to find in Southampton. We walked past the pretentious and overpriced places and then spotted a green canopy down a side street with that magical word: PUB.

It looks like a place you'd take your grandmother to lunch after lawn bowls, but the food is an unexpected delight. The grilled scallop wrap with salsa and ranch dressing was literally dripping with goodness. Two big halves with perfect fries for $8.95. Unbeatable.

Sweet potato waffles were ok, but the shrimp and sausage gumbo is a cup of hearty heaven. Service is super friendly, down to earth, and attentive. If you want a low-key, non-scene, cheap eat in the Hamptons, this is it. Ignore the decor and keep your eyes, and lucky tastebuds, on the food.

meh. i agree that it's nice to have a no-frills southampton enclave, and i know that i will be crucified for what i'm about to say, but i have 2 complaints about this place:
    1. incapable of adjusting anything on their menu to be vegetarian
    2. NO MALT VINEGAR!
i didn't choose it, i was taken out. what i ate was ok; i ended up having a fish sandwich (i only eat fish on special occasions, but it was eat or be a bad guest) . while i'm in a minority, it's not a terribly small minority & even the very ghetto ruby tuesday's has a black bean or veggie burger, or perhaps a salad that actually tastes good.
this is under most people's radar, but for anyone who cares, they will find it very strange as i do. so little flexibility is actually pretty rare.
the malt vinegar thing is mostly just a personal problem :)

What can I tell you that hasn't already been said?  ....Probably exactly nothing.  That said:

Fellingham's seems to me to be a working class oasis on an upper class main drag.  Tasty, juicy burgers, creamy-crisp fries, and yummy corn fritters (as another Yelper rightly points out).  It's not a drive-to destination, but I'd seek it out if I was in the neighborhood again.

definitely unlike anything else in the hamptons- which wins it extra points in my book.  as the first review says, its dark, small, and an "old mans bar" for sure- but the burgers make it totally worth it.  plus, its cheap.  so if youre craving a no frills burger and a really low-key vibe, definitely check out fellinghams.

Best food in Southampton? Absolutely not.  Great Atmosphere? Not So much.  Quaint, not very crowded and cheaper than most other places around here? Absolutely!  I usually order out during the day and at night I will come in every now and then to grab a cheap bite before I go out.  They have great soups, steaks, and excellent burgers.  The atmosphere is really an old man's sports bar.  Very dark inside, very very small, not updated at all, but cute considering it is located in a small town and has been standing for a longggggg time.  I would recommend this place if you don't want to be surrounded by yuppies, and are looking for a quick bite before going out and are not looking to dry out the bank account.  I really can't say enough about their delicious burgers!

Fellingham's is a classic old school local Southampton bar and restaurant.  They bill themselves as a sports bar, although they're nothing like the mega sports bars you find these days.  The menu is made up to look like the sports page from a newspaper, and all of the menu items are named after either a big name (e.g. the Bambino, a bacon cheeseburger) or some part of a game.
The bar is pretty generic, but the food is good, considering.  The burgers are big, and cooked the way you want them - medium rare means medium rare.  The decor is actually kind of cool too - the building has exposed rafters and collarties, and the whole place is covered with pictures of sports stars (mostly Yankees) and trophies.
It ain't elegant, but it isn't too macho to turn you off, either.
