Went here on St Patty's Day while on a business trip in Wells. Honestly - this place was perfect. The bar was fairly crowded around 5 pm but we were still able to get a spot. They had a really decent beer list and great Irish classics on the (I am presuming) limited St Pattys day menu. The main dining area is spacious and the waitresses weren't rushing anyone out the door. All around, great Irish pub!
Review Source:5 stars for an Irish pub? Yeah. We went on a Saturday in the "quiet season". The place was packed and we were told there was a wait. They sat us in a nicely laid out waiting area. We were told by a manager that she would be right over to take a drink order. Unfortunately, she forgot, but came over shortly after another server greeted us, apologized and paid for our round of drinks. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. Our server Laura was simply the best. We had the Irish Nachos made with fresh chips. Outstanding. The fresh fries were great as well. The corned beef and cabbage was tender and flavorful and the lamb stew fresh and rich. The beer selection is second to none. Very pleased. A new favorite.
Review Source:It's becoming one of our regular spots when we visit the area. Â My wife likes it, my son likes it, and I like it.
The burgers are a good size and the fries were very good. Â I feel like the other dishes are better than pub food. Â Like the sheperds pie or the fish n chips. Â Pub food yes but fresh and cared for.
The beer selection is very good for what I've experienced in Maine. Â Quite the variety.
Try the Nachos!!
Nice menu selection of pub food and traditional Irish fare. Highlights for us were the sweet potato fries (so fresh, delicious and salty!) and flat bread pizza (great crust and abundant toppings!). Service wasn't so hot but to be expected from a college kid new to their summer job, she was nice enough just clueless about serving etiquette and timing, nothing that would deter us from coming back. Overall a nice place with a solid menu, I definitely would recommend Feile if you are looking for an Irish pub in the area.
Review Source:Excellent food and even better service. Â Every time we go here, we are warmly welcomed by the hostess and the wait staff is equally warm, and attentive. Â We usually eat in the pub, and enjoy watching sports on the big screen TV. Â I am not a beer drinker but they have an extensive beer and ale list. Â My brother loves that they serve PBR. Â It was a raw night when we went so we shared a DELICIOUS butternut bisque and each decided to have the phenomenal Shepherd's pie. Â Everything was wonderful. Â It is the perfect place to go when you want great comfort food in a welcoming atmosphere. Â Â They have entertainment some nights. Â Also, I would love to go to trivia night (Thursdays) but unfortunately, am in South Boston during the week.
Review Source:For York/Ogunquit/Wells area, this is my pick for pubs!
I love it here! They have two seating areas: a dining area and a casual bar sitting area (booths, tables, and stools).
Plenty of parking in the back of the restaurant.
The food is delicious. I've only eaten in the bar section, I imagine there may be a slightly different menu for the dining room..
Anyways, their onion rings are a must! SO GOOD!
And I love their flatbread pizzas!
I have yet to try their desserts.....because big daddys ice cream is around the corner.
Only con I've noticed is in the summer there is no outdoor seating and sometimes it can have touristy travel...
One of the better pub atmospheres without the crowd of Federal Jacks in Kport and the distance of traveling to Portland!
I'm not saying this Is a 4 star restaurant, but for bar food it was 4 stars for sure. Chowder was great, burgers were awesome. Best onion rings I've had in my life. The bartender Tom is a gem, good guy to ask any questions about where you want to go in the area. An all around good time.
Review Source:We went there on a day when they happened to have a Burger Special - probably Monday, and I believe they have an early bird as well. Â The burgers were excellent, especially when bacon or portobello mushroom were added.
The ONION RINGS were about the BEST I have ever had in my life! Â The batter was perfect - just the right amount of salt/seasoning and crispiness.
Cute Irish pub in Wells. Â Comically enough, they were the only place in town with Cinco de Mayo specials. Â My $3 margaritas kept me happy, and the food was pretty on the mark (onion rings not so delish though). Â Husband loved the clam chowder. Â Next time, we'll have to come for trivia, as we had just missed it.
Review Source:After striking out at a few other restaurants (long wait times, no seats available, high prices) we decided to take a gamble and try this place out. It exceeded our expectations greatly. Great service, terrific atmosphere, ambiance and great food for the price. Not only do you get great food, but the presentation is very classy, which is always a bonus. I got the chili rubbed steak that was cooked to perfection and looked and tasted great. My wife got the mac and cheese which looked and tasted to die for. The dining room is great for a quiet romantic dinner, which exactly what we were aiming for. Don't go in expecting pub food because it's so much more. Plus great beer on hand to boot. Highly impressive on all levels.
Review Source:Didn't eat any of the food. Looked and smelled good though. This place definately feels like a traditional Irish pub. We just went for the atmosphere and the brews. Had the hooker dopplebock. Pretty good. Along with most of the other traditional European pub brews, they also had a large selection of other beers to fancy anybodys flavor. Would have like to see an outdoor porch for sitting drinking smoking.
Review Source:From the outside it doesn't look like much of a pub but inside it looks like a classic Irish pub. Plenty of space between the tables and soft Irish music playing in the background add to a very relaxing ambience. The buffalo wing had just the right level of spice and the beer battered onion rings had a very good onion o batter ratio. My colleges have told me that the fish mac n' cheese  and the bangers and mash were very good. The burger I ordered was slightly over cooked but still delicious. There is also live music on thursday nights. In general a very good restaurant and highly recommended.
