I expected just a wood burning oven pizza place, but their menu is more extensive than that. Â It's a wide range of upscale pub food. Â My husband and I both thought the food was very good. Â He had the pulled pork sandwich on a brioche bun with house cut French fries, and I had the veggie pizza. Â My husband liked the beer. Â The atmosphere is OK. Â Service was great.
Review Source:My burger was quite good but the aoli that was described was not given. My wife ordered a turkey club. It had no pesto and very little (0.5 tsp.) aoli so it was very dry. The fries were good and my kids said the pizza was good. My parents got steaks and this looked like a mistake to me... the steaks looked like they were just OK. Â I liked ALL the beer though! My tip would be to order burgers and beer if you like ketchup rather than aoli or ask for aoli on the side so you can be sure they give it to you.
They have NO coloring or other activities for kids!
I agree with the other review out here that the music is a bit too loud.
We went there last night, July 2nd. Â We were told that the wait would be 20 minutes and it ended up being 55 but for a rainy summer night we just assumed people were in no rush to leave. Â Once we were seated though we were amazed to see at least 6 open tables in the main eating area. Â I'm guessing the were understaffed but I can't believe you'd have at least four parties waiting for close to an hour when there are open tables. It's also hard to believe that they could be that understaffed on July night. Â Especially considering they are not new at this - they are affiliated with both Veranos and Billy's.
Once seated though, everything went very well. Â Our server (Farrah I think) was very nice and did everything well. Â The beer was outstanding - I had a Rye IPA and my wife had a Summer Ale. Â We started with the wings that were perfectly spicy and crispy. Â Our meals consisted of cheeseburgers, pulled pork and an arugula and prosciutto pizza - all very good. Â
The only other oddity was the floor in the main eating area. Â It was an ugly tile that looked like it belonged in a school and when it was the Wells Beach Steak House, I'm pretty sure they had a beautiful, dark wood floor. Â I have no idea why they would change and if they had to change why they choose such an awful floor. Â It may seem like a silly thing to worry about but it really stuck out and clashed with the nice dark wood walls and ceiling left from the WB Steak House.
I will go back assuming they'll work out the seating/staffing issues in the near future as they are new. Â The food and beer are definitely worth another trip.
Arrived at 6pm - no wait.  We chose a table in the bar to relax and have dinner.  Music is TOO loud!  Could not chat with dinner guest.  While I get that they are trying to be a hip joint, if you can't chat with the people you are with you just might have to go elsewhere.  The wings are delicious - smokey buffalo and nicely crisp .  The beer was excellent  - Their own!  We then had a pizza - spicey salami - above average - awesome dough - very good quality indgredients, however,  the nice thin crust should be crisper - the pizza,
although it had great taste was too soft. Â I really hope they are working out a few kinks with the wood fired pizza oven because this place could be great. Â All in all we enjoyed our meal and will be back! Â I think I speak for others when I say the pizza should be crispy!
