Firehouse Sports Pub

Nice little sports bar.  Been there a couple times. Friendly servers and bartenders. Couple months ago I had gone in and my bank showed that my card had been run twice so I called and spoke to the manager. She handled the situation very professionally and stated that the transaction was already voided and sure enough it was. They also have a good selection of beers (reasonably priced) on tap.

It's a sports bar... in Nampa, Idaho. It's the sort of place you should expect with these two variables. This is the hangout spot for teachers in the school district; they come here to unwind after a particularly "awesome" week. I'd imagine that this place would be a fun place to watch a big game on the makeshift "big screen" they've provided, but in general, it's not a place I'd choose to hang out or become a regular. You're not going to "Norm" me here. (For those of you that didn't have a crush on Ted Danson as a kid, that's a reference to Cheers.)

My favorite spot in Nampa. All the bartenders are friendly, the kitchen staff is cool, the snacks are priced right, the variety of beer on tap is eclectic, and the happy hour crowd is fun.
