Fireside Steakhouse & Lounge

If you like prime rib and your near Sioux City, this is the place to go.  I'm a big eater, but order the small prime rib here (petite).   The review by Jon M. is pretty much dead on.

Prime rib was excellent as always. They have added sweet potato fries to the menu. They were great too. Only disappoint was not having the complimentary cup of ice cream after dinner. Prices are extremely cheap for the quantity and quality of food.

The salad bar is limited, but the soup they had (vegetable beef) was good. Menu is not huge, but no reason to stray away from the prime rib or steaks. I have heard the fried chicken is good, but have never tried it.

The staff was friendly and attentive. The location is way out of the way, but well worth the drive.
