  They were busy on a Tuesday at lunchtime, but we got ignored from our waitress.  She finally took our order, and we waited over a half an hour for our food.  It looked like other tables were waiting a long time for their food too. We had simple fish and chips.  The two waitresses always walked by fast and looked down, so you could never catch their eye.  I finally could flag one down and ask for a coffee refill, and she said she'd be right back.  I watched her seat people, clean tables, etc., and she never came back.  I had to really flag our original waitress over to try to catch her eye to get us drink refills and extra sauce.  The fish and waffle fries were kind of cold.  Later, I had to once again waive the waitress over to ask for our bill and a take-out box.    Big surprise was the extra cost for waffle fries and tater tots when the waitress told us at the time of ordering that we could get these as substitution for regular fries.  She did not at all mention they would cost extra.  It might have been just a bad day at Fish Tales, but I was really disappointed.  They are not like they were 3 years ago.

  I was visiting New Prague on a business trip and wanted to watch the some sports.  Bar was great and so was the food.  They have a great atmosphere and a great patio bar to watch all the games.  Would highly reccomend!!1 Can't wait to come back

  my mom in law was disappointed that the menu changed within the past month.  she was set on having ribs until she was told that it's no longer offered.  so she ordered shrimp instead.  she liked the shrimp but thought the salad had changed and not for the better.  i had to get walleye since i'm from CA and never get the chance to have it.  i ordered it grilled and liked it.  to top it off we had dessert!  the apple pie with ice cream and it was good.  my mom in law ordered the french silk and said it was heavier then usual.  we'll be back since it is so convenient but not sure if we would return if there were more competition.

  I had an opportunity to meet with a couple of old friends and co workers for a few beers and dinner here.  The atmosphere reminded me of an upscale lodge up north (think fish mounts, logs and wood).  Good/Fair selection of tap beers and a typical menu for a Minnesota Bar/Grill with a bit of Czech ethnic food available (forgot the name of the soup).  Food was good, service was fast and friendly.  My Club sandwich was large, so large I needed to take half of it home, and I'm a big eater.

  Setting was great for our family with young kids. Staff was friendly and courteous. We ordered breakfast, food was slightly cold and just mediocre.

  I definitely like the decor and the atmosphere. I'm not a big fan of fish in general, but they have good food and one of the best places to visit in New Prague.
