Frank's Restaurant & Bar

Have dined here many times over the years, and before now the food was excellent.  This week was NOT up to par.  Two items were too salty to eat.  Service spotty.  I hope this does not become a trend.  Crab cakes were fine.

Disappointing.
We have eaten at Frank's many times in the past enjoying great meals.  Our experience on July 17 was very disappointing.  On the positive side the Low Country Spring Roll was inventive and tasting.  The crab cakes were nice too.  All other dishes suffered from excessive salt or poor prep/quality.  The ravioli was swimming in oil, the collards inedible for the salt, the conch tough, salty and overlooked.  I can understand one failed dish but three make it unlikely we will try again.

2nd time at Franks. Will have to try out the "Outback" part next time. After dinner tonight, we passed through the outdoor seating area and were impressed. Dinner tonight was wonderful. We were in a relatively quiet area and enjoyed some wine (Bottle of Red Zin) with our Veal and ravioli dinners. Service was very professional and our water and wine goblets never went dry.
