The service can be hit or miss. They often don't have enough staff on busy nights but the same can be said about any place during the recession. I used to come here after work 3 or 4 times a week for a cold beer and some wings. I stopped ordering the wings because they were coming to me with the tip still frozen.
I believe its popular only for the fact that its one of the few places in Adrian to get this type of experience. Plenty of TV's and a $10 min charge during UFC fights (to be expected)
My personal favorite place in Adrian. Maybe I am a bit bias as I am good friends with a large chunk of the waitresses and bartenders but at one point I didn't know anyone and still went all the time.
The beer is cold, the wings are hot (if you order them that way), the staff is beautiful and the sports are plenty. If you want to catch a game, a UFC fight or just a drink this should be your Adrian HQ.
The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because the bulk of the seats are hard bar stools and get a little painful if your sitting down for a weekend session.
If you look close at the beach party photos on the wall you might even see your friendly reviewer in his favorite What Would (Jason) Do shirt.
This place is ok. Boneless hot wings were pretty good. Plenty of TV's to catch the game, but the service leaves something to be desired as the wait staff was less than friendly and not very helpful when my wife and I were asking for drink specials or recommendations. Also it was really strange that they had a live jazz band there playing music during the middle of all the games last night. I don't know about you but I don't go to a place like Frickers to catch up on the latest jazz tunes. They even turned off the audio for the games. So that was pretty unexpected and annoying, especially when trying to watch U of M and MSU basketball and Redwings hockey. I didn't even bother staying around for the UFC fight. So all in all not a terrible place, but not so great either. Also, its pretty over priced. Ordered 30 wings, 1 basket of fries and 5 beers over the course of the night, bill ended up being $60. No food or beer specials here on weekends.
Review Source:This is the best place for wings. The wings are normal size, a great price, the sauces are delicious, and the other food is great too. If you have tried frickers you can't go back to Buffalo Wild Wings. If you do you will be kicking, screaming and crying like a little baby to go back to frickers were you belong. I am very unlucky. I do not live close to a frickers, but if were are in town this is the only place we will eat. If we are one a road trip and see a frickers sign you better believe that we are stopping. Â I WISH I LIVED CLOSE or even closer than a two hour drive to the nearest frickers. :( Just writing this review is very depressing.
For people that love your wings you will understand once you visit, if you are not a fan of chicken wings you just will not understand.
I go to Fricker's as often as I can with friends and family. Â Every time I come with somebody new, one of the comments I always here is, "We'll have to come back!" Â I am in love with the wings. Â This is one of the few places were I think they have their recipe down to perfection. Â The staff is always very friendly and attentive. Â I rarely ever am able to get my drink less than half full before somebody comes and fills it up. Â I like the outdoor seating as well. Â Fricker's is by far one of my favorite places to eat.
