This is one of my favorite places to eat while out on a Saturday or Sunday ride. Home cooking is comfort food, if you are looking for fast food, this is not the place...It is a fine family owned buffet that usually features fried chicken, a seafood dish (shrimp, catfish) and a  beef dish along with many sides such as rice and gravy, corn, carrots, okra, green beans, etc..and a homemade dessert!!!
Review Source:Went there not knowing what to expect. It was a small buffet with not much of a meat selection. I grabbed baked chicken super dry, the roasted potatoes were ok. The macaroni salad was horrible. After I tasted that everything else tasted just as bad. I go into a restaurant with an open mind, but I tell you not to go. Please don't waste your money. Even though the cost of the buffet was $7.00 that is seven bucks that you can use at market and make a sandwich at least.
Review Source:While I wouldn't consider the Front Porch fine dining, it is a good place to get a decent meal with great service and great prices. Â My wife and I and 2 small kids stopped on our way through town, and the buffet was $6.49, free for kids under 3. Â All you can eat salad bar only $4.99. Â The food was decent, seemed homemade and fresh, and while not gourmet or overly healthy eating (ribs, mac n cheese, fried chicken, etc.), it tasted good. Â The restaurant was clean, fresh flowers on the tables, and the servers were attentive, friendly and eager to please. Â My wife and I and our 2 year old son ate for less than $10.
