I'm not sure I'd drive hundreds of miles out of my way to eat here, but if you're on your way between two towns in the middle of nowhere in Indiana, its well worth stopping by.  The Manhattan Beef (a roast beef sandwich, with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy all over) is a work of perfection.  The people were really nice, prices were 1/2 what you'd pay in California for comparable food, and it just feels way better to patronize these types of places as opposed to the chains.
